Meet our Westpark Administrative Team
Ms. Leslie Lacey, Principal
Hello Westpark Families! I have had the pleasure of working in the Southern Kern Unified School District for 26 years. I began teaching in SKUSD in July of 1993 and became an administrator in 2004. During my time as an administrator here in SKUSD I have held the positions of: High School Dean, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. I did leave the district for two years, but missed the community and school district so was ecstatic when given the opportunity to return. This is my 2nd time having the honor of being the Principal of Westpark. It is amazing to get to work with such a phenominal team of educators and hard working staff members. Our Westpark families and students are such a joy to work with.
Mr. Patrick Holmes, Assistant Principal
I have worked in the Southern Kern Unified School District for over 7 years. I have been the Assistant Principal of Alternative Education, Tropico Middle School, and now here at Westpark. I previously taught at Mojave High school and California City High School for 9 years. From there I worked as a Center Administrator for Mojave River Academy for 3 years until coming to Southern Kern. I have truly enjoyed my experiences in SKUSD and the amazing staff, students, and parents that I have been given the opportunity to associate and work with. I have valued my short time working with and serving the staff and students at Westpark. I look forward to another amazing year as a WES Wildcat!
