Rosamond High School Principal's Message

  • Throughout times of history there has always been the tradition of symbolism and leadership. Rosamond has reemphasized that symbolism. It is the ROADRUNNER, Rosamond now has that leadership; it is the students. It is the sports, whether football, cross country, girls and champion boys soccer, volleyball, baseball, boys and girls basketball, wrestling, girls tennis, cheer, boys golf or our champion softball team. It can be the amazing marching band and drum line or our flags and cheer teams. It could be the AFJROTC program or maybe the mathletes. Yes, the list goes on. For the first time in a while in this wonderful region's history Rosamond will bring back the traditions of old and now speed forward. When times are tough or looking bleak the residents of Rosamond can now look to its Roadrunners. Its Roadrunners are leaders as they walk onto the field or into the classroom. They are leaders of wisdom as they endeavor in their education. They are leaders in ethics as they guide their fellow students to optimum behavior. With this understanding, the residents of Rosamond can now feel the joy of the examples of the past and follow the future progress of their current ROADRUNNERS. The Rosamond Community can be proud of its old traditions and look forward to the new traditions that lay ahead. Rosamond High School, standing with a new academy, Independent Studies, and collegiate secondary programs embedded with a shining technical fields program can and will answer the call of the Rosamond community as the beacon of leadership and its symbolism of pride.
